Reset Apps

Remove or Re-Login to the Google Account

The error may simply be a Play store issue, which sometimes occurs when the Play Store is updated. You can go into your phone’s Settings menu and then Accounts & sync and simply remove the Google account. Once you’ve done this, you can re-add the account and it would work just fine.

  1. Go to phone Settings.
  2. Tap on Accounts (or Sync sometimes)
  3. select the Google account you used to log in with Play Store.
  4. Tap on Remove to remove the account.
  5. Once remove, Re-Login to your Google account.

Disable VPN or AdBlocker App

Sometimes VPN could be causing you the problems with your Google Play Store in the region you’re currently in. If you have a VPN enabled on your Android device you should disable it to fix your problem.

  5. Enter the1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com hostname of the DNS provider.

Add Cloudflare DNS on iPhone & iPad without any App –

If you’re on iOS, you can use the app or set up a manual DNS entry for each wifi network you want to use with Cloudflare’s DNS also you won’t be able to use it when browsing on your cellular network.

Google announced that their public DNS will now support transport layer security (TLS). DNS over TLS is a security protocol for encrypting and wrapping DNS queries and answers via the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. The goal of this is to contain a standard way to secure and maintain the privacy of DNS traffic between users and the resolvers. Check How to Setup Google Public DNS over TLS on Android phones.

Google Public DNS over TLS now available on Android 9 Pie and can be found Private DNS setting in network settings. The user needs to set DNS provider to dns.google. Just like Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS this can also be work without root or VPN and goes by the IP address 8.8.8.8. Older versions of Android do not have native DNS-over-TLS support.

To use Google Public DNS, you need to explicitly change the DNS settings in your operating system or device to use the Google Public DNS IP addresses. Before you change your DNS settings to use Google Public DNS, be sure to write down the current server addresses or settings for backup purpose.

“Starting today, users can secure queries between their devices and Google Public DNS with DNS-over-TLS, preserving their privacy and integrity,” the company wrote in a blog post. “We implemented the DNS-over-TLS specification along with the RFC 7766 recommendations to minimize the overhead of using TLS. These include support for TLS 1.3 (for faster connections and improved security), TCP fast open, and pipelining of multiple queries and out-of-order responses over a single connection.”

How to Setup Google Public DNS over TLS on Android

Setting up Google DNS over TLS on Android is very simple. All you need to change your DNS setting under the Network and internet tab on your mobile. Follow below steps to Setup Google Public DNS over TLS on Android.

  1. Your device should be running on Android 9 Pie or later (older device does not support DNS-over-TLS).
  2. Open Settings > WIFI & internet settings (or Network & Internet) > Private DNS.
  3. For Samsung Galaxy devices go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS
  4. In the popup window, select Private DNS provider hostname.
  5. Enter dns.google the hostname of the DNS provider.
  6. Click Save.

Setup Google Public DNS 8.8.8.8 at WIFI Routers

  1. Open your browser and enter the IP address (most probably 192.168.1.1)to access the router’s administration page.
  2. Enter the password to access network settings.
  3. Go to Network > Advance and Find the screen DNS server settings.
  4. If there are IP addresses specified in the fields for the primary and secondary DNS servers, write them down for future reference.
  5. Replace the addresses with the Google IP addresses: 
    For IPv4: 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4
For IPv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888 and/or 2001:4860:4860::8844
  6. Save and exit.
  7. Restart your browser.

All you need is the Easy Fire Tools or Apps2Fire app on your Android phone and the app you want to install on your firestick.   1. Download and Install the Easy Fire Tools or apps2fire app on your Android Device.
  2. Install the app you want in FireStick on your Android device.

This guide is divided into three parts. First, we share the required files, then a way to install the essential module on Windows, and then how to configure Remote Fingerprint Scanner on Android phone. Follow below steps to Unlock Windows PC with your Android fingerprint scanner.

Requirement:

  • Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 PCs
  • Android device with a fingerprint scanner (running on Android 6.0+)

How to setup Windows Fingerprint Credential Module

Windows Credential Module has both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, so choose the appropriate version and download. Extract the zip file and run the finger_unlock.exe file for your version of Windows.

  2. If it ask you to grant an exception in the firewall, Grant it. That would allow the module to receive the data packet.
  3. If you are on Windows 7 or 8, it will ask you to install a small update to run the Windows 10 sdk. Update it and proceed.

How to setup Remote Fingerprint Unlock

Setting up Remote Fingerprint Unlock app is fairly simple. All you need to do is download the Remote Fingerprint app to setup the process.

  1. Download and install Remote Fingerprint Unlock on your phone.
  2. Open the app and go to the Scan section.
  3. Start the Scan operation and let it find your Windows PC.
  4. Your PC will show up. Tap on the PC name to set up.
  5. After adding the PC, go to the Accounts section.
  6. Tap on Add Account. Enter the username and password of the account you want to remotely unlock.
  7. You can add multiple credentials and multiple computers to the app.
  8. After you add the account you want to unlock, select it by tapping on the account name.

How to Unlock Windows PC With a Fingerprint Scanner on your Android phone.

  1. Lock your computer by pressing Win + L. You’ll see a new account on the bottom left named Fingerprint Unlock. 
  2. If it says the module is active, then you are able to proceed.

There are two ways to install Notepad++ Plugin Manager, first simply download the .zip file and place the PluginManager.dll file in the Notepad++ plugins directory, and the gpup.exe in the updater directory under your Notepad++ program directory and the second one is choosing custom setting while installing Notepad++.

Method 1:

  1. If you’ve already installed Notepad++, uninstall it and keep your custom settings.
  2. Download and Install the Notepad++
  3. While installing on the Choose Components screen, select Custom from the dropdown list.Notepad++

  5. Click Next.
  6. If you plan to move Notepad++ to a USB flash drive, then check the Don’t use %APPDATA% box on the following Choose Components screen.

  2. Download Notepad++ Plugin Manager latest version.
  3. Unzip the file.
  4. Copy PluginManager.dll to C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins or C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins (If using 32bit version).
  5. And copy gpup.exe to C:\Program Files\Notepad++\updater or C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\updater (If using 32bit version).
  6. Restart the Notepad++

How to Install Plugin using Plugin Manager

Method 1:

  1. Open Notepad++
  2. Go to Plugins>Plugins Admin to open the Plugins Admin.

  6. You’ll see a warning popup telling you that Notepad++ will exit and restart to complete the installation.

  1. First Download the plugin you want to Install using Notepad++ Plugin Resources or another site.
  2. Close the Notepad++.
  3. If you didn’t check the Don’t use %APPDATA% box during the installation of Notepad++ then go to the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Notepad++\plugins folder.
  4. If you check the Don’t use %APPDATA% box then go to C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins folder.
  5. Now Copy the downloaded plugin zip file to one of the above locations and extract it. Make sure the extracted plugin file has a folder and inside that folder contain at least one DLL file.
  6. Open the Notepad++, the plugin should appear in the Plugins menu in the app.

How to Update Notepad++ Plugins

Updating Notepad++ plugin is as simple as installing it. You can easily update the plugin from the Updates tab on the Plugins Admin dialog box. Check below steps toupdate Notepad++ plugins.

  1. To check for updates, go to Plugins > Plugin Admin.
  2. Click the Updates tab.
  3. Check the box for the plugin you want to update and then click Update.
